Mrs. Laurie Peil
I was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan, to Aaron and Janice Easton. I graduated from Central High School and then attended Delta College where I received my Associates Degree. I have a B.A.A. in Child Development from Central Michigan University and I continue to take classes to keep informed on relevant Early Childhood issues.
My husband Kevin and I have been married for 25 years and we have been blessed with two sons. Jeff is a junior at the University of Michigan and Nick is a junior at Western High School. My family also consists of a turtle named "Snappy" and a grey kitten named "Denali".
I began teaching preschool in 1987 when my husband and I lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We moved back to Michigan in 1990 and I taught K - 6th grade music for a year before "retiring" to start a family. In 1994 I came out of "retirement" when I received the call to teach Preschool here at St. John's. I have also taught summer camps at Midland's Montessori School as well as teaching and directing childrens theater at the Bay City Players and the Temple Theater in Saginaw. I love teaching preschoolers - God has been good and gracious to me through the years!
